The Samui Culinary Circle or SCC is a non-profit organization formed in 1997, to create a close co-operation among food and beverage professionals working on the island of Koh Samui. The SCC is a networking tool for its members; which consists mainly of Executive Chefs, F&B Managers and Restaurateurs. The Lions Club of Koh Samui The Lions Club of Koh Samui

The Lions Club of Koh Samui, Suratthani held their most recent meeting on the 15th of July at the Kanok Buri resort in Lipa Noi in order to discuss the forecast for the year and how to handle and distribute the budget with Khun Veerasak Jessadanon from the Yamaha dealer in Nathon presiding over the meeting as president of the club for this year. Established in 1917 the Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 200 countries who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. The Koh Samui Lions club currently has 22 members and is looking to recruit any new members who would like to help in taking care of the community of Koh Samui. Last year they helped many causes including the old, blind and handicapped people on the island. They have a monthly meeting which is in a different location each time and their next meeting will be held at the Chaweng Garden Beach resort, however the date has not yet been confi rmed and next year Bangkok...
