The Samui Culinary Circle

The Samui Culinary Circle or SCC is a non-profit organization formed in 1997, to create a close co-operation among food and beverage professionals working on the island of Koh Samui.

The SCC is a networking tool for its members; which consists mainly of Executive Chefs, F&B Managers and Restaurateurs.

Our aim is to continuously improve the quality and standards of cuisine & service offered on the island through training and the development of culinary skills. The SCC holds monthly meetings to discuss current issues and enjoy a lunch hosted by one of our member’s establishments.

We organize annual competitions, designed to encourage and promote our junior colleagues skills in events such as cooking, fruit carving, flower arrangement and bar tender shows.

The SCC will also support what our members feel are worthy causes, such as educational and environmental issues, usually by way of an annual donation.
